We are pretty sure that uncle Feli or Dr. Carino had received his glorious crown from the Lord for being a good and faithful servant. For further information among our CLCYF and dugong CYF, Dr. Feli Carino, as the UCCP fondly calls him, is a real big figure and pride in the history of our church, of the conference and of course of Pangasinan, specifically Umingan, such that he was the secretary-general of the NCCP (National Council of Churches in the Philippines)until his retirement in the nineties if my memory doesn't fail me, Our own church the UCCP is one of the members of NCCP along with United Methodist Church, Phil Methodist Church, UNIDA, IEIMLF, Phil. Independent Church, and other Evangelical churches all over the Philippines. On many ocassions, he represented the country to the World Council of Churches once with Sen. Salonga. He was the dean of College of Arts & Sciences at Philippine Christian University, He was also an author of a lot of Theological books and Sunday School materials. Dr. Carino is the middle child of 5 children (sinundan siya ng mommy ni Lorraine). He is a great loss of the church but praise be to the Lord for blessing the UCCP with a son who offered and dedicated his life for service to God and to God's people. His life and faith shall definitely be remembered and treasured not only in the history of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines but also the whole National Council of Churches in the Philippines and beyond.
