 Well, based on consensus, I have gone ahead and reserved the Huddle Hut at Camp Wrightwood for our 1st Christmas Institute January 7-9, 2005. It was the only weekend open.

Here's the deal - there are 4 rooms upstairs and 3 rooms downstairs. I few of the rooms have their own bathroom, but generally there is a common bathroom and shower room on both the upstairs and downstairs. We will have a fire place (since it will be cold), a common area for meeting (more lounge style), and a more modern kitchen but not as big as the one in Smith Hall.

The Huddle Hut includes beddings but can only accomodate 21 people - although now we know that Gary and Joel at Camp Wrightwood are not strict, as long as we "behave" I don't think they are going to care if more people join us. The fee for renting the place for the weekend is fixed (whether we have 21 or less people) at $970.60 (includes two nights), so I think its a pretty good deal.

I was thinking it would be good to plan for the summer camp and then spend the rest of the time possibly skiing on Mountain High - Does anyone know where we can get discount tickets. I was also thinking we can do the White Elephant Gift Exchange to celebrate the holidays. These are all just ideas. Trying to get the ideas out and the event finalized before school starts again in the Fall so any suggestions will help.

Please start sending me RSVP (through our boardroom) so that I can keeping tract of the attendees - Mng. Bob and family - you are confirmed - your e-mail is what made me decide to go ahead and confirm the reservations so walang indianan. Manong Nick - sana you can leave for the PI after the camp na lang so we don't have to miss you. Manong Willie - first come first serve ha - if you want a good bedroom come early coz I don't want to be responsible for room assignments.

Another exciting chapter in our book to look forward to!
