Hello Everyone!

We're back from the Philippines - thanks again to everyone who made our stay enjoyable (mga kadugo back home) and to everyone who wished us well as we traveled. Unfortunately, I did not send out a camp reminder/brochure in the mail so I am hoping that the information that I send here will get around by word of mouth.

I just sent in our "Final Head Count" forms to Camp Wrightwood. This time we have the Huddle Hut (and not the cabins) so the camp fees for the whole group is fixed at $1094.00 for the two nights - Beddings and linen are provided for 20 persons (which is the maximum allowed for reserving the Huddle Hut), but I have been assured the camp personnel are NOT STRICT with the head count so as long as we are discreet (and masunurin) we shouldn't have any problems. I suggest that everyone still bring sleeping bags just in case.

I do not have an idea how much the registration cost per person will be but I suggest an amount of $50.00 per adult be charged (or any amount na kaya). I would like us to encourage more people (especially our youth) to come and hate for us to lose people who cannot pay. I am sure we can agree on something while we're there (and pray for donations - ha, ha).

I don't know who will be in charge of the food, but somehow, I am not too worried about this - kasi we've always had so much in our past get-togethers. It would be great if someone can volunteer to coordinate what we should bring. Please also bring musical equipment for family circles and devotionals to share during our quiet time.

Check-in time is 4pm on Friday, January 7th. I will be flying in from a 4-day conference in Hawaii that afternoon and plan to go straight to the campsite from the airport. Finally, I have been asked to remind all campers that no PETS, SMOKING, ALCOHOL USE, and DRUGS are allowed on the camp site.

Please confirm the number of campers in your group so we know what to anticipate. See you all there!
