anyways, just to upadate everyone ...
Some CYF from southern and northern California might be attending the 90th birthday of Boy T's mom (Mrs. Tamondong) on the 28th of the month and at the same time make further plans about our forthcoming Camp on July 25-27, 2004 at Yosemite (campsite though is not yet finalized, right, Lorraine? still considering of one more place which will be discussed on the ocassion of Boy T's mom's bday). Yong gustong maki-join from southern Cali in particular, manong Willie, Lea, Leny Mones Abella, etc. please let Bono Gulla know, as he is coordinating this event, I guess.
Another thing, just to remind everyone of your contributions or donations to the CYF Trust Fund. Right now, we have a total collection of exactly $900.00. Mirriam Mina Mills, we received your pledge for the month of February a week ago. Thank you so much for your faithfulness. God bless you more tremendously. ... As we posted before, Lorraine and Ted are going home to the Philippines on March 28th, and we have agreed to send the money to manang Aie through them. Our target amount is at least $1000.00. Any volunteer, please, to complete the quota? The more donations, the betterer (according to Jess)
Deborah Millan Basa called us like three weeks or a month ago and pledged to support the trust fund. She is also more than willing to invite us to fellowship in her new house before or after the CYF reunion/camp. ... Debbie, puspuskulek iti rupa kon, I'm waiting for your donation. Thank you.
We also need your prayer support for our dear brother Jun Ferrer. His brain tumor is still there, with lingering diabetes, too (he's an insulin dependent, now). His sinus problem bothers him also. Please continue to uphold him in your prayers as well as the rest of our brothers and sisters with health problems. Yes, we are really troubled by health conditions of our loved ones but we are consoled and enlightened by the truth and belief that Jesus Christ, the Greatest Physician of all times never change. He is always the same yesterday, today, and forever. He led the lame to walk, caused the blind to see, made the deaf to hear, set the prisoners free, restored Lazarus back to life, conquered His own death at Calvary, and because of His power, love, and grace towards mankind as manifested through all these events, He will absolutely grant complete healing to our dear brother, we just need to go to Him in prayer with humility, trust and submission to His will.
Until then, may everyone be blessed more abundantly with peace, love, joy, and good health.
