I have not visited the Board room for a while since most of the time in the past, I just get to see my own postings. This time, lo and behold! Diak pay ammo no anya ti ununa-ekon nga lukatan! I better go back to my printing of each before the older messages get 'eased out' (still the documentation monster! I used to do it with Daisy at her office.).

My junior Aie! Welcome home! So good to 'see' you all over the site. Every time I go to Cebu, I don't fail to remember Phililip. Adda laeng ditoy somewhere, kunkunak nga kanayon. Last time I heard, he was with a shipping line. Do tell me how to get in touch with him.

Sapay koma ta ituloy yo ti planoyo nga ag-camp intono 2004. Awanen iti planok nga mapan iti US (the 1998 trip was the last!) but I will be with you in Spirit...as always! I am sure that will be One Camp that will have all the trimmings of a camp that we all have come to cherish. Right on!

Last June 12, I was in Umingan. As usual, I was still fast asleep at 7 in the morning after another long night (too late to change work habits!). Guess, who would rouse me up? Jojo G., Jess, Sam Y. and Delio!! They remembered the June 12 core group anniversary and they were on their way to meet up with Mark and Pros in Nueva Ecija. They knew I was in Umingan. Matugkik da no dida nagsardeng! Mannarimaanda nga rurrurusen ken agtuktukol iti vine ni mama Chit ta imula kano idiay Tabita Hideaway ken Ramos Campground. True to form, they used the "rat patrol". Those of you of the CLCYF '70's, ammoyo ti ibagbagak. Deje vu. (It would have been the schedule for the tree planting at our two campsites ngem awan metten ti tudo after that big storm. We are still waiting for more rain to start planting.) BTW, Jojo is here for a 6 month vacation from his job in Saudi. He was down for 6 months while there with something (the name is a mouthful) that he got from operating on a sheep. Hazards of the trade, kunana.

Naammuak later nga they had to stay overnight with Mark ta nadadaelanda ti lugan. Kunkunadan sa met laeng!

I am glad Dave posted that Thank You letter for mama Chit for all of us. Yes, thank you for all your messages, prayers and kind thoughts. Before we left Umingan after mama's funeral, we had a quickly planned (habang naglalamay!) get together at Cacabugaoan. Dave, Earl, Sam Y., Jaja and I decided to walk through both sites. Dagidiay dadduma, agluto kami laengen, kunada. Tengnga ti aldaw! It took only 20 minutes (napukaw pukaw kami pay ta di met la nangipagpagnaan ni Sam-en---over, under brushes!)
from the Tabita Hideaway to the Ramos Campground. Nagpurpuros kami ti kasuy and bay-yabas along ti way. Pwerte nga ling-et but it was fun. Don't you just wish you were there, too?

We had kalding (of course!) for lunch, courtesy of Earl and Dave, ably cooked by Jess and Delio and company. We also had adobong abuos eggs (Aie, Jr., saan mo nga ammo daytan!), green mangoes from Sam and Ike's mango farm (inlimed mi nga pinuros ta idiay kami nga limmabas going back to base camp), etc., etc.

Once I get started, adu unay nga maistoryakon. But got to go now. Keep those messages going. Kas kuna ni 'David' (Aie, Jr, I think he used that name to test you! Taas talaga ng CLCYF IQ mo!. Naglemlemmengam aya? Atilinda, ubing ka pay, idi.), ma virus ti aglukat nga saan nga mangibati ti message.

Steve, I still owe you that promised e-mail. Please bear with me.

Sige ngaruden. God bless us all!

Aie
