Help me, I’m having a blast here in San Nicolas! I’m having so much fun that I may not return to CA. It has been nothing but total enjoyment. Food has been a healthy and fibrous all the time, plenty of veggies, bunog, lagdaw, etc.

I’ve met with Mng Aie, txtd with Atilinda, and I’m sure I’ll be meeting the rest of the DCYF gang on Saturday at Mama Puring’s birthday celebration. Adda met insaganak piman a bottles of red wine, but they won’t be able to surpass the aroma of the tapey that Atilinda will bring. BoyT and his siblings will arrive here tomorrow. And this is not a joke—I ran more than 10K this morning with Jesus. I thought he would just fall on his face before the 2K-mark but he kept on going; he is in good shape. I passed by Steve’s house and OPEC distribution center a couple of times. Mimo's aunt extends her regards.

The San Nicolas town fiesta celebration has just started, with the Farmers’ Day parade this morning, attended by my kind—the farmers, as the represented their respective tang-gals. Their floats were so native…you’ll see them when I post them in my gallery soon. The drum and lyre competition, main parade, cultural dances competition, Balikbayan night, and much more are still to come.

Until next time.
