WHEN CRUELTY COMES AROUND

I didn't know why girls liked you
why they thought you were so kind
you were always so cruel to me
you hurt me all the time

you used to tease me constantly
and you laughed when i cried
everyday i waited by the window
so i knew when i should hide

When i say you walking down the drive
i'd watch you walk the path
sometimes you would look up
and then you would laugh

you'd come up to my bedroom
and the teasing would begin
you'd always say i wanted you
then laughed at me again

you were only two years older
and yet you seemed so confident
i dreaded the times that you would come
and i longed for your decent

you tease me for no reason
i never did anything to you
people would talk to me
and when you came.. they'd tease me too

I thought this was the way it was always gonna be
but there was something i didn't know
one day when i was waiting for you
i waited past the usual time, u didn't show

i wouldn't leave that window until you came
but you never did
i waited til way past dark
right by the window i would sit
