Subject: Motherhood

A mother gives birth to her first child
Not all is as perfect as it's portrayed
The bond is not instintly acheived
lessons are learnt after mistakes are made

Motherhood comes so naturally for some
while others find it quite hard to adjust
Friends and family don't seem to understand
And often let out the feeling of mistrust

Everyone seems to have their own opinion
As to how I should look after my son
They've got to analyse what may be wrong
and tell me what I should have done

If he happens to cry for a little too long
The look that is often gets cast my way
is one of total disgust and disagreeance
even though they're still to have a child oneday

Motherhood is not all rosey like often thought
The feelings that follow are sometimes distructive
But once the bond between mother and son is formed
Parents would die to make sure baby will live.
