Greetings from SAN ANTONIO. The media critic of the San Antonio EXPRESS-NEWS shared some postings about CHUCK and his current status and future possibilities. I wanted to share what I replied to her, so once and for all, clarify CHUCK's status:

:CHUCK BOOMS is an incredibly talented Radio Personality, whether it is the SportsRadio or NewsTalk arena. Initial reaction to having CHUCK join CHRIS DUEL, as a part of our NewsRadio1200 WOAI air team, has been, to say the least, ENERGIZED. People can easily decide whether they LOVE or HATE Him, his Style, and/or Opinions, which is a key benchmark of the most successful hosts, like RUSH, JIM ROME, GLENN BECK, PHIL HENDRIE, and SEAN HANNITY. It is gratifying to the Summer ratings, his first local report card, which he was on for about half of the three month period, continue the growth that "CHRIS & CHARLIE (Parker)" have been enjoying, over the past couple of years.

Even though I'm leaving to join FoX SportsRadio, i have ZERO plans, at this, to make any changes to current FxSR line up. It is my hope that CHUCK will continue to a key part of the 'OAI staff, long after I'm gone. That could then lead to bigger opportunities, under the Clear Channel/Premiere Radio banner. Whether he stays or moves on, will ultimately CHUCK's and my replacement's decision, solely.

Finally on a personal note, it has been a sincere privilege to work ON and OFF the air with someone like CHUCK and I look forward to being able to watch CHUCK to continue to grow and hear him entertain and inform, like few can, no matter what stage!"
