since i didn't have consistent access to a computer last week (i was out of town), i'm just now learning of this latest episode in the booms radio saga. i never got to hear chuck on woai, though it appeared the show was doing fairly well: the news-express article indicates ratings (which were high) weren't an issue.

what i can't quite understand is how anyone can label booms "fanatical" or "controversial". the boomer hardly falls into the "shock jock" category. i liken him more to bill o'reilly. he's an average joe who happens to have a broadcasting forum in which to voice his opinion.

i'm one of those people still hoping for a "kiley and booms, part deux". perhaps this may be the first step in that direction. perhaps not. either way, i'm praying his mother's condition improves.
