Subject: Dogs with jobs TV show. Francis and Turbeaux

I just saw the Dogs with Jobs video that featured Francis and Turbeaux (sp?). Interspersed among the footage of Turbeaux there was footage from an Austrian K9 squad, that showed Mals being used as police dogs in an anti-terrorist unit.

Frankly I liked it when Francis said that Mals don't make good pets. Of course they do make excellent pets for the right owners. But I think it conveyed the right message to the soccer mom types that are unwilling to do any training at all.

The Mondio II trial was cool. They could have shown more of it, but overall I'm sure this was great publicity for the sport.

Has the cable channel Animal Planet done the Malinois in their breed all about it series? Does anyone know? I have an in with these folks. If they haven't featured the Mal yet, I could help put together a show that would give Mondio another plug, the way we did with the AB and Irondog. The Animal Planet show on ABs and Irondog has been aired over 60 times. The publicity it generated was unreal.
