Those are very good suggestions. Maybe board members should mail us fairly finished products, i.e. the tapes should show dogs training in Mondio, but the owners also give some narration, offering their insights into the sport and so forth. If we get several tapes like this, then David and I can put together a good video. I'm thinking it would serve two purposes: a pitch for a Mondio TV show, and maybe it could be sold and the proceeds would go to the USMR club to help pay for judges flying in from Europe to hold trials. I believe that is the number one expense in holding a Mondio trial.

The Animal Planet TV show that featured Irondog was filmed at my house, I provided the raw material, Animal Planet did the editing and stuff. They sell it on their website and keep the profit. They told me a year ago that it was the number one selling Breed All About It video. That's why they have aired it over 60 times. Every time they air it, they sell videos of the TV show.

I sell a video called Irondog and Beyond. I have sold about 1000 copies so far ($30 a pop). It is a training video for the sport. I don't charge for Irondog titles, the judges often fly in for free, dogs that win big trials earn gold belts and/or cash prizes. This is all paid for from the proceeds of the video.

I'm thinking that Mondio Ring could use a revenue source to help it expand.
