• fun at the hotel -- carmen, 17:16:25 09/25/05 Sun
  I was spending the summer working as an intern in another state and one of my best friends was working only an hour away. One weekend, he decided to come visit since I had a huge suite in the hotel and there’s not too much going on in Wyoming. Before he got there I picked up a six-pack of beer, assuming we wouldn’t be getting too shitfaced since we both had to work the next day. We drank a beer and went to dinner with plans to go to a movie later that night. After dinner, we hit the liquor store. He had brought a bottle of apple pucker, so we picked up some Crown (yum!) and on a whim, a bottle of tequila. We went back to my room and started mixing. Crown is so good with the pucker! Anyway, we were sitting there getting pretty shitfaced when two of the guys from work showed up at my room. They came in and had a few shots, then we left for our movie (quite drunk) and they went to meet up with the other guys from work at the bars. After our movie, we ran back to the hotel, took 3 quick shots of tequila and met the guys at the bar. When you go out with these guys, you never pay for anything, especially with me being a girl. So we closed down the bar and decided to head to my hotel to finish of the ‘mini-bar’ that we had started. I have a Grand Am, and I was hauling 4 guys. Ross (friend from home) is a big ol hockey player, and the other three are oil field, so no jockey sized boys here. On the way, Shep was convinced that we needed to listen to Holla Back girl, so all four guys were rocking out in my little car. We made it safely and just started pounding the drinks and smoking when we got in my room. Pretty soon, Ross passed out on one bed and Erik called a taxi to go home. Mo was starting to pass out, as was Shep, so Jesse and I pulled out the hidabed and put Shep on it. We left Mo on the chair. We went into the other bedroom to make out and eventually passed out. At 6:30 the next morning, the engineer called to let me know we had a job to do. I was barely coherent, so I just mumbled and passed the phone to Jesse. Assuming we wouldn’t be showing up, the engineer laughed and hung up. About this time, Ross woke up and decided he should get going, so I walked him to the door and said bye. When I turned around, it looked like a hurricane had gone through my room. There were empty bottles everywhere, and oversized deck of cards, clothes, and plastic cups that were still half full of tequila. There were cigarette butts everywhere and the room smelled like ass. Everyone was still sleeping, so I crawled back in bed with Jesse and waited. We finally all got up and went to breakfast, but no one was too active that day. The worst part: housekeeping didn’t clean my room! When I finally got home, I had to do it!

• drunken motel room -- melissa, 17:11:38 09/25/05 Sun
  Some of the people that I worked with decided to go and get a room at a hotel nearby and just have a party there and crash for the night. A couple of guys piled into my car as we drove to the hotel noticing that a lot of people were in the elevator and were going to the same floor we were.
  
  It turns out we had about 50 to 60 people in one small room all cramped. We had some beers laying around so we just started drinking like crazy. After that, we just hit the bed. The next morning we all start to wake up and there was this woman in our room. Supposedly some people that were staying in the next room heard some noises and contacted the front desk. Since the front desk could not get in because we had a stereo cranked up so loud and people passed out they decided to wait till morning when they had the motel manager with the keys.
  
  They threw us out and said that we could not come back even if we wanted a room to sleep in.

  People go to a lot of bother when drunk and feeling sick, I entered a departure room one day and the smell nearly killed me, heat up full, window closed, but I couldn't find the source- until I pulled out the bed. Someone had pulled out the bed, puked under it and pushed it back in place. Another person went to the bother of holding on until they made it to the toilet, but neglected to open the lid....

  whenever we have Americans check into the hotel, they always have silly requests, one day I was on the front desk, and we had just checked in a large tour, when (as usual) yhe phone started ringing, but this particular request was,for instructions on how to flush the loo!
  I tried my best to explain, but the lady on the other end of the phone, could not "GET IT"
  so I had to send a porter up to her room, and he had to show her!!!!

  we were setting up for a wedding on friday, and the manager on duty that morning had everything ready, and the manager comming on duty at 3.30 went to check out the arrangements, to find that the table numbers were not on the tables, as requested by the bride!
  nor were the tables numbered on the notice board out side the reception room,
  some of the guests were starting to arrive, and she went to the filing cabinet to recheck the brides requirements, to find that the manager that was on dty that morning had set up the WRONG PLAN,
  he had set up the plan for the following friday!
  so all hans on deck, everyone was rearraning tables, putting in round tables, and moving the stage, the room was like a bomb hit it, and then half an hour later it was exactly to plan!! what a rleif!
