I just got back from the parade. Anyone planning on going next year, I give you a few tips. First of all it's an all day experience. I got there at noon, the parade started at 230pm. I got back at 630pm. Be sure to carry a chair, and dress warm. It gets cold when the afternoon sun gets low.

Saw a few old friends, Jimmy and Betsy Snyder, met Riney and Sue Walker Griffin's daughter. Very nice and pretty girl. Mayor Bubba sat with us, and we enjoyed his company. David Beasley the former governor of SC sat across from us. Jimmy Jackson, Frank & Barbara Brown were there, David & Anne Jones, Tommy & Renee' Dennis, and Renee's sister and brother in law which most of you haven't met yet, Rick and Patsy. Rick just retired from the Air Force where he spent 30 years as a oral pathologist. Peter McCoy was in the parade.

Emily and Dougie were there also. That poodle of Emily's is a big bully. First of all he cocked up his leg, and did a you know what on Buckey's leg. Then he picked on him the rest of the day. Buckey being the well behaved dog that he is just ignored the little bully.

All in all it was an enjoyable day, but I'm tired, so I'll see you later.
