Well, Sarah, as a DJ to the mindless, I play all that pop stuff just like Carson Dailey until I think I'm gonna go blind! But it's the ONLY time I ever listen to it - when I'm paid to!

Actually with the exception of country which I HATE (I only like the Dixie Chicks), I love all music and perform it - alternative, rap, jazz & swing (love Big Band), alternative, funk, ska, industrial, grunge, emo, folk, blues, and classical. Some pop - I like Madonna and Christina Aguilera (she's got a voice). CDs that are ALWAYS in my car are the Fugees, Manson, Counting Crows, Ani DiFranco, NIN, Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine, Eminem, and whatever CD I'm stuck on at the moment. I have over 2000 CDs.

I also love everything the Beatles ever did, some Pink Floyd, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin kicks ass, Bruce Springsteen is a poet -his music (and NIN) is on my web site, the Sex Pistols, all those old LPs my parents kept.

robert smith entirely got an entire generation to change the way they look and he paved the way for bands like NIN and Marylin Manson. Smith and David Bowie in the 80's and the guy from the Smiths - Morrissy - helped make the transgender look fashion.
Like that movie where these college kids were killing their roomate so they would get an A (I forget the name of it - maybe the curve or soemthing) - anyway the psychiatrist said - if these ten cds are in your collection you are suicidal and it included the cure and the smiths. haha. now its nin and marylin manson.
