It does no good for anyone in a position of power to comment any further until the facts are known. After mondays announcement, the union should put out a statement for all to see and for the media to report. As much as I enjoy questioning motives, if Gettelfinger says publicly he does not know the content of mondays announcement, a local's president may be out of line if he announces he does. As far as a communications position for the union, I think that may be a great idea. That and maybe updating the UAW Local 862 OFFICIAL website with all fact-based information that pertains to both plants. That way, in the case of bad news, the membership will have a place to check facts about his/her job. You are always the idea man Raoul.
