Subject: Multi-cultural Infor meeting

Just as a brief update to all Wantoks in Rocky, our club intends to actively participate in some of the multicultural events earmarked this year by both CQU and the wider community. Some of us have attended a couple of information sessions organised by the Rockhampton Multiciultural Society and their reception of our club has been very encouraging.

The latest session was attended by 6 members of our club and it was noted by those in attendance that there will be several important events coming up later this year where we as a group may need to put up an item or two subject to everyone's consent. Please keep watching this board for further information pertaining to such events.

We will do well to cooperate with one another in our efforts to paint a better picture of our homeland (PNG) after all the bad publicity of late.
