theirs not much in Bakersfield if you are into goth or industrial so you'll have to drive and be over 21 to make friends with some cool people.
drive 2hours north to make friends at futureshockk or elektroshockk in Fresno or drive a couple hours south through lots of traffic and make some southern californian friends.

if you are under 21 and you aren't goth downtown bakersfield Jerry's Pizza has rock shows everyday and you can meet some friends their.
