My story in a nutshell:
20 y/o (single, *wink wink*) female. (I'll be hitting up Futureshockk in September, everyone buy me a shot) Anyhow.....spent my entire life in NY (the Batcave was my club of choice if anyone is familiar). My job with Gap Inc. Logistics offered me a position here if I was interested in transferring from NY to Fresno...so, being all starry-eyed about CA, I totally jumped on the idea.

Long story short....19 year old packs 2 suitcases, jumps on a plane, and moves out of her parent's house for the first time to live in CA completely alone....for fun. Haha, am I crazy? You guys can be the judges :)

So, pretty much I came out to experience CA, and Fresno is just where the job happens to be. But honestly, I actually like it here. Its inexpensive, smack in the middle of CA...and I've been able to find plenty to do. I really think its sad this place has such a reputation as being a crappy area, I'm really happy here. NY will always be "home" and my family will always be there to go back to, but I absolutely love CA, and am really happy that I came.
