Well that is kind of funny. To tell you the truth, I might have known the guy who said that to you. Besides, the guys at Guitar Center are only into their own things and don't really look outside their own little spaces.
I remember running into a guy there and he thought that if he bought any of Gibson's "goth" series guitars that he'd be a "goth" himself. Some people in this town are just silly.
Though keep in mind, this is coming from a guy who took his screen name from a comic book.
