There are some local occultists. There used to be several large circles around Fresno that I knew of, specifically "chaos mages," and a few Thelemites. But of any specific groups, I don't know. I think the Brass Unicorn's owner would probably know, though. They have enough clientel looking into the "black arts" to carry a copy of Mather's Lemegeton.
