Hey there-
Don't panic. Is there a UnitedWay in your area? They have safe houses and people who can help you. They are a blanket organization that deals with all sorts of emergencies and people in need. I would contact them and let them know how desperate your situation is. I would also get in touch with the police- let them know that your safety has been threatened and get a restraining order. While it is true that a piece of paper won't help you, if you establish a history on this guy it WILL help you later if, Heaven forfend, he does attempt to harm either of you.
There are people in your area who can help you- call them tell them how frightened you are for your safety, make them understand the gravity of the situation and you will be removed!

P.S. The restraining order might look very interesting to the police or a Probation officer should that S.O.B. you're living with have been in serious trouble already.
