If only you could touch my heart
In that special way you do
When time lapses and thoughts remain
In those obscure moments of the night
When sleep comes and all guards come down.

I would open up to your every desire
With lips caressing your sweet and gentle mouth
While you lay there waiting...

And then, as if the night echoes have spoken
To my inner ear
I'd envelop your waiting, trembling body
With kisses sweetened with honeysuckle and rose
Moments passing slowly, oh so slowly
That eternity would seem but a second
Each time looking at your shining smiling eyes
Hoping that you don't slip into slumber
For fear that this feeling would stop
Just to show you that I love you deeply....

It is in the night that I come to you
With all that I have to give
Gifts of love tied together with bows of sincerity
And fears that fall by the wayside
Everytime you touch me.

I do not ask for much
Only a slight movement of your hand touching mine
To let me know that you are there
Heart, mind,body and soul.
