Staffies don't do well as outside dogs. Your breeder should have warned you when you bought your staffie.

My dogs through the years have always slept inside and we've never had a problem with noise.

If you are not willing to let your staffie sleep inside with the family, you'll have to get creative. A really long walk every evening, a large meal before bedtime, plenty of suitable toys and chews as it's probably boredom and lack of intellectual stimulation at the bottom of the unwanted noise.

You also need to ask yourself what's suddenly changed to make him behave this way? If he's NEVER exhibited this behaviour before, what's different recently? New neighbours? Burglars scouting the neighbourhood? How do you KNOW he's barking at the things you mention and not at something his incredibly acute hearing and sense of smell, has detected? Something tanngible which human senses simply cannot be aware of?
