I have a 2 year old tan Staffie bitch. She has a wonderful, gentle temperament, gets tons of exercise & has basic training. However, whenever there is thunder or lightning, she freaks out. She has now started climbing onto the cars bonnet and onto shelves and tables and into cupboards. She is unconsolable and walks around stressed and panting. I am worried that she is going to hurt herself and hate seeing her so stressed. We have used EcoFear which works if we have enough warning of the storm comming and if we are home. She also seems to know when there is thunder an hour away and starts to stress. What can we do???
