The flame stallion saw in their eyes and in the slight quaking of their bodies that they still weren't sure of him. His eyes saddened that they should fear him so much, and he tried to reassure them that his wish was never to be cruel to them.
Both of you...I really and truly will never do you harm...I would kill myself before striking any of you. If ever anyone else tried to do so, they would have to face me, angry and wrathful. I would protect both of you to the utmost of how I can. And...
He smiles, knowing that maybe, perhaps, that this could be part of their fear.
I'd never split the two of you apart.
