Spotting the filly and the stallion together, the golden mare trots over, snorting slightly at the steed, her orbs burning with dislike, perhaps even fiery hatred. She holds her tiara high and her creamy mane curls lightly in soft waves. She nudges the ebony foal gently, her expression completely changed. Now her twin pools were loving and filled with motherly warmth. Little one, come with me, and we, the bachelorette herd, will keep you safe and protected from stallions that may hurt you. Don't go to them for their collection. If you need a mother, I will take care of you; I already have another little flicka of my own. If you don't want to stay with me, I'm sure there will be plenty of other mares that would take you and nurture you, raising you well.
