I explained to her I have no land to call home and we would be staying at my old friends herd for a while, but instead of going with a stallion she could have been lead mare with she decided to join me. /He smiles a little then it turns to a thoughtful frown\ I made a mistake in my first year as Lead, I did not make her my queen. She deserved it, after all she held all my heart. I hurt her deeply choosing the mare I have now, Rein, as my queen, she was merely a Beta. I still question my reasoning. She finally seemed to be getting along alright with me again when we bred. Our beauty of a foal, Holly, is my pride and joy.
