*she looks at the two stallions, she obviously wasnt worth anythign to them. They werent even bothering to do anything about who got her in their herd. They didnt care* Oh, I guess I will live in the Open Meadow or Bachelors herd I guess... I am not worth being in a herd *she said aloud, and she heaved a sigh. She had scrapes and bruises and marks where her hide had been broken. Previously abused, she was of the shier type. She started to hum a song* Nobody cares, if I die or live. Nobody cares if I get sick or my life I give *she hummed that little sentence over and over again. Maybe no one listened, but she sure heard herself*

~Nickers to her softly~ "Why are you sad M'lady?" ~He takes a step towards her and reaches out to nuzzle her shoulder, but then he sees the scars on her coat. He felt enraged that a stallion would hurt a mare like that, or was it another mare?~ "Tell me, who scarred you like this? It is not right! For they had no reason to hurt one such as yourself!" ~He continued to reach out to her and did nuzzle her shoulder, hoping not to impose on her personal space~ "I swear, I will not let anyone hurt you anymore. You are to precious to be lost to such barbarianism. Please, let me help you." ~Eyes plead for her trust.~

*she looks at him and lowers her head, still looking up at him* I... I... *seeing the gentleness in the stallion's eyes she eases up a bit, but always alert* H... H... Him! *she says pointing to a dappled gray stallion,* no.. not.. not all time! But some... *the stallion she had pointed to was watching them he had run off after missing his shot at the mare* Some from long time ago... Can't remember who. It had hurt though *she doesnt know what had gotten over her all of a sudden at first she had been happy and go-lucky, the stallion was intimidating her(Renegade) she got a little closer to Fallen Saviour as she tried to shiel herself and hide from the big stallion*

~Auids flatten back against crown as he sees the imposing steed approach. His voice tone immeadiatly changed to seriousness~ "Do not worry M'lady. For I shall take care of him." ~He would too. He would give his life for this mare that had been tormented. This 'Renegade' would no longer torment her once he got through with him.~

~Notices the other stallion and what he's about to do.~ "Don't you dare touch her!" ~He hisses fiercely. He jumps into action. He charged towards the steed, ivories bared and flints flying. He aimed his bite for the spine of the steed, and his flints for his barrel. He hoped to give him some scars for his assault, and to teach him never to hurt another mare again.~

He stumbles forward, but soon regains his composure. That hit would leave him limping for a week or so. Angered, he lashed his rears out at Renegade's legs, hoping to trip him up. If that didn't work, then he would have to resort to something else.~
