Subject: ZZR1100 D - How many TEETH on SPROCKETS ?

Hi, I need to buy a new chain and sprpcket set for my ZZR1100(D6).

On the web site it says I need a 17 teeth front and 44 teeth rear sprocket.

BUT oddly enough the D1's to D5's apparently had 45 teeth on the rear!

Can you tell me if 44 is correct? Why is this? Does it really matter?
