in regards to that quote. Get a new poster argument, I'm begging you. If you have other argurments, I'd be glad to hear them. That being said, I'm not gonna call you a moron or yell at you for your opinion or anything (I'm completely against doing that)*. However, it's just that: an opinion, based on how you play the game, the whole pairing aspect turns out a little different, and different people will always interpret it differently. So you're right, they're right. It depends. Just like two different people can look at one thing and interpret it differently, or even remember vastly different events, this game can be interpreted differently.
*Note: My motto: Seek first to understand then to be understood. I try not to bash people for their opinions, however it does get me mad when people say the same thing over and over. The whole "Tifa blackmailed/nagged/forced Cloud to make the promise" thing is a little stale. Don't think I'm trying to pick on you either, there was a sight a while ago, for the cloti pairing (I can't seem to find it anymore) which explained alot of thier views in a very effective way. However their was a problem with it, it said "if this site can't convince you then oh well! Theres no helping morons" thats the kind of thing I don't like.
Now that the 'rant' portion of my post is over back to what I said earlier. What are your other 'reasons'?
