Reflecting Pool

Stumbling around
tripped in a well
of heart-felt thoughts
with nothing to sell

The reflecting pool
was more than I thought
and within moments
my mind was caught

Sent spinning... spiraling
deep in the dark
remote crevaces
of soul and heart

Where another's is
the voice I hear
echoing my own
carefree and pure

Given the beat
of life anew, by
inhaling the waters'
pure crystaline blue

I now see things
in a different light
no longer dark
but colors of bright

Like morning dew
glistening in sun
reminding me of
when once we were one
