*he nickers and nuzzles his new son. He was always ready to play. He nudges him slight, and whispers* Go hide. I'm going to count to thirty. *watches as Rebs dashes off and turns to Cherry. His ears flopped a little in sadness, and nuzzles her too, neighing quietly.* I know, but it'll be a long time before he has to go. Treasure the time you have with him, and don't think about the future. *it was the only advise he could offer her, and though his words may have sounded cold and unloving, they were a far cry from what he really felt.* Continue this conversation later, my thirty seconds are up. *he neighs and dashes off, searching for Rebs.*

* he cantered away on skinny stick-legs. he found a nice green bush and snuck behind it there he saw his parents talking - his father seemed perky until, his ears flopped and he said something about him (rebs)- his mother looked pale and back away from apollo. Rebs nieghed and thought they were playing he nieghed hapily waiting for apollo to find him*

* she was stunned and coulndn't believe what she had heard. this was her only baby!!!!! She felt the colour run out of her face and she backed away from apollo. She heard a neigh from a near by bush, had Rebs heards her??? she doubted it but still backed away more as her mind filled with strange thoughts* "b...b...but he's your son and he has to stay!! he's your son!!" *she stressed. then turned and cantered away*

*he was torn two ways, one where his son was of which he could play and be carefree--and the other with Cherry with whom he would have to live up to his responsibilities. He trots after Rebs, listening for the foal, and scenting the air. Finally, seeing the a bushy, tail wagging out from behind a tree, he trots over and taps his back with his muzzle.* Found ya! You're it! Now, count to thirty and come find me. *he gallops off leaving the foal at the tree, and heads off the way Cherry had gone. He catches up to her.* I know he's my son, and I don't want him to go either, all right? But there's no point in fighting the inevitable. Fate has cards they don't want to show. Do you see? *he nuzzles her, thinking how could he explain the ways of a male's life to her.*

( as her playa is wondering) " if it was a filly she would stay??" * she nuzzled him and finally said...* " i am sorry- i know i will have to exceppt that but..." * she hesited then burst out...* " but... YOUR 30 SECONDS IS UP RUN!!" * laughed and cantered away!!*

* cantered away looking for his dad- suddenly he saw him run and followed him he finally caught up and shouted "GOT YA!!!" * he then ran*

*she stood still and thought about what just happened- she was more upset than she looked and walked away- she didn't care about apollo, she didn't care about rebs and most of all she didn't care about herself. she cantered away hopeing to find some place happier*

He nips Rebs flank and trots away, calling. You're it. (lol new game!) (okeydokey, will juss put her MIA for a while... or should he go after her?)
