(Ahem... he wasn't "walking" he was trotting, and well out of reach, though a whip is longer than human arm, lunge whips aren't all that long, nor can they do much damange.)

*He hears the cracks, and feels stings as the noise maker found its mark and hit him. Angered, he charges at the human once more and rears, giving a harsh cry. He was tired of playing, and wanted this thing gone from his herd lands, whether it be alive or dead. Baring his teeth as he landed, he lunged for the humans hand in which the noise maker resided.*
