Then he turns on the other stallion, accepting the challenge and rears flailing his legs out in front of him. He gives a loud shriek, dancing on his hind legs then lands and pivoting bucks.

|~Dove snorts, pinning ears defiantly. She had grown fond of her stallion and would not leave him easily. If he failed her and lost the challenge she would put up a fight of her own...and a good strong one at that. She sticks around, but staying out of the way of the fighting stalions. Standing stone still, not a muscle twitching under sleek pelt. Occasionally breaking her stillness to nicker encouragement to her stallion, but never does she make any other move, harks stay plastered against skull as she stares coldly and defiantly, rarely moving a single muscle.~|

Thew fight had begun. He swivels, narrowly missing the haunches of the other, and in return abruptly rears, scythes scrashing at the air, coming down, hopfully near the other. Dentines grab wildly for the neck, looking, searching.�

((Nope, I don't think he's allowed to. At least, he shouldn't because in real life no stallion would ignore another's challenge for his mares. ))

*the stallion gives another hoarse cry of rage, and with his whole weight, threw himself backwards, landing on the other stallion. He quickly gets up, and proceeds to rear another harsh cry escaping him. It was a warning to get off his land or suffer the consequences. He launched himself at the stallion wanting to either drive him away or severly injure. His eyes smoldered with rage as the attack intensified*

*The stallion breaks away from the fight, shaking his head. There was a deep wound on his back where the other's stallion's teeth had found their mark. The smell of blood found its way to his nose and only prove to make him angrier. He reared again, hooves clashing against hooves, both trying to take the opponent down. He hit the ground and fiented like was going to rear again. Instead, he threw his whole weight into shoulder as he came into contact with the stallion's chest.*
