First off, is there anything illegal about learning how to make a bomb, or a virus? No it is only illegal to make a bomb, and it is only illegal to distribute viruses. Ok? So even if he was a cop trying to arrset you, what grounds would he have?
Second, that so called virus up there, ya, i'm pretty sure it doesn't open up telnet, but I don't whant to find out what it does.
Another thing, I researched bombshock, it's pretty much a giant forum, no donwloads or anything.
Lastly, here is an actual virus, it's written in c, so knock your socks off (Please note everyting in quotes should be on one line):

Explanation: the * before p creates a pointer to the stirng p. P is the coppy of our program. In the string we see %c and %s. %c is a refrence to a character, mainly the quote that starts and ends the string. And %s is a refrence to the actual string itself. Thus we see how it keeps on reproducing its self.
