That's just it! Some sort of emotion or life altering event conjures up a split personality. Thus all the movies have an ending in the same vein. Are they all exactly alike? In a way, yes. Are they all silly? I believe so. To me, this is the new "Dusty Finish" for movies.

Being that Fight Club was one of the first modern films to do the split personality ending, I must say that I didn't like it then either. How that movie could actually end, I don't know. But I just felt like the ending was a bit of a cop out.

Now there's a new movie with Jodie Foster coming out called "Flightplan" that looks like it may be the latest of the trend. She begins her air flight with her daughter and after waking from a nap discovers she's gone and the flight crew don't have any records of her being on the flight at all. Here we go again.
