Man, if you thought Vol. 1 was slow, Vol. 2 will lull you to slumber.

Walt, Vol. 2 was just lousy. The critics loved it and for the life of me I have no idea why. Where the first film had several action sequences (including the incredible bar fight), this one has 1 1/2 (1. a great fight scene with Daryl Hannah and 1/2. some fighting while she's training with a man who was very interested in his facial hair). The rest of it is meandering dialogue that takes forever to get to its intended purpose. It's boring and drab, definitely Tarantino's worst writing.

But perhaps the biggest letdown would be when she finally gets to Bill. Once she gets to him there is quite literally 45 minutes of talk before she finally kills him (and that's the name of the film so I'm not spoiling anything there). The way she kills him is SOOOOO anti-climactic. You want it to be the fight to end all fights and it's . . . just nothing at all.

I left the theater angry that I spent 3 hours and $8.00 on this miserable piece of filmmaking. And why they split it into two parts is beyond me. I saw 2 hours worth of material in the Vol. 2 that could have been cut out or down. Don't waste your time, Walt.
