A very good offering from the good people at Pixar. It was not made in the same vein as Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo as it is less a traditional "family" film than it is an adventure movie. It's more like a comic book come to life. It is rated PG for all of the stylized action and intense (for kiddies) situations.

The premise is clever and well-executed. Craig T. Nelson as the main character, Mr. Incredible, does a fantastic job as does Jason Lee as his nemesis, Syndrome. Of course, I love Jason Lee in everything even as "Beav" in the horrible Dreamcatcher.

One thing I wasn't impressed with was the opening short that has become the norm. for CGI movies. I found it annoyingly banal.
