On those, which were shocking, I can't believe they didn't keep Angelina Jolie in the trademark attire of Lara Croft (from the game). Surely that'd be just about a prerequisite for the flick.

As for Scooby Do, it looks like again it's gone again the type of the original cartoons - that whatever monsters/ghosts/whatever are responsible are actually man-made.

Right there, that's the trademark of Scooby Do as far as I'm concerned - unmasking the villain at the end and the cry of, "Why it's old man Witherspoon." And in response, "And I would've gotten away with it if it wasn't for these meddling kids!"

I hate adaptations - the vast majority of them suck.

Hollywood sucks.
