PErsonally, I think if you liked the Coen's Ladykillers, you should rush out immediately and rent the original Alec Guinness version. Much darker, and in my opinion even funnier. Normally I'm a big fan of the Coen's, but I thought there version paled in comparison.

And just to tag onto your review, I saw Hellboy this weekend and quite enjoyed it. The characters are quirky and likable, and though the film loses some of it's charm in the second half as it becomes more of a conventional fantasy action flick, and there are some moments that made little sense or weren't entirely explained, I had fun, and that's really all I ask of this kind of movie.
