Nothing like replying to a post that's 7 months old, but I just got around to watching this movie last night on "InDemand PPV."

Good movie, Del Toro was good, not great. Jones was being Jones. I think it is safe to say he has cornered the market for roles chasing fugitives. I hated - Hated - HATED the beard. It made him seem smaller. Weird.

Funny you mentioned the scene about being out of the water with dry hair. I noticed it too and when I went to point out the inaccuracy to my wife, I found her fast asleep in the love seat. Boy, if she can't stay awake with one of her favorite "hotties" on the tube, either the movie stinks or she's really tired. In her defense, she is battling a small flu bug.

I enjoyed the many ways the movie "hid" Del Toro's face among the landscape and the chase, as you said, was very cool. The final knife fight was also nicely filmed, although the initial stab Jones received in the thigh stopped bleeding too easily after he came out of the water. That thing should have been gushing blood.
