Like I said, I don't care one way or the other. Can you really say you are happy with the way this went down? (no pun intended) It comes up at a meeting, is voted on at the meeting, and is a done deal, without any advance notice to get input from the community. You gave your input, how many others did? 2%, 5%, 10%? This is a major decision, and in my opinion should have been delayed to allow the community to show up at a meeting and voice their opinions. If they felt it was an emergency, they could have just voted to remove the backboards, with a permanent removal of the poles to be discussed at the next meeting. What if they did the same thing for another amenity, like the playground, or even the pools? Teenagers hang out there also. Would you feel the same?
