I know it seems like I don't agree with you, but I totally agree that government should not be controlling us and I do agree we should be given more information.

Unfortunately, what you're looking for is not here. The answer is to amend the ByLaws to give us information about and the right to personally vote on issues instead of leaving it all for the Board.

Let's break apart the line in question: "Abandon, partition, subdivide, encumber, sell or transfer the common facilities"

They sold a piece of the common facilities. Unfortunately, this line says "the common facilities" which would mean the whole area as a whole. When lawyers write this stuff, they have a particular intent in mind and they certainly do not want to have the parties they are protecting get in trouble if they have to remove a part of the area due to a sink hole or a town ordinance or any other such reason.
