Users are only approved on the other site after their information has been validated. That process is managed by Association Management Services, not me. I doubt the board would be willing to switch to an anonymous forum, but I will check with the company that hosts our site to see if there are plans for enhancing the existing message board. If the board wanted to link to an external forum, I would certainly do it. Rather than just a message board, something like this might be nice. http://www.ning.com/ Not sure if facebook would be a good option. I know you can setup a private family site, but I am not sure you can do it with a group. I would be willing to look at creating a new site even, using something like squarespace.com.
