Mr. Hippo now consist of Dylan on lead vocals and guitar, Steve on bass and backing vocals and Glen on the drums. They are currently working on a new album 'Angry Parent Attack' and are dedicating most of their time to the studio and perfecting their live performance. Rumours have been circulating that the desicion to change the singer of Mr Hippo was due to a personal disagreement within the band. However, after their last recording session, Glen was contacted by the studio concerned, and offered a £7,000 / 3 Months promotional recording deal. The 'catch' to the deal was that the recording was to be without the then singer of Mr Hippo, Ash. The band chose to turn this deal away. However, afterwards, declines in levels of both performance and attendance, led to the decision to streamline Mr Hippo for the time being. Mr Hippo would like to express that this decision was entirely professional in nature, and was not an easy decision to make. Mr Hippo would also wish to state that they hope personal relations between the members of Mr Hippo (new and old) will not be affected.
