1)Shakespeare decribes the dark lady as basically unattractive and dark. He insults her features almost all of it. But at the end he says that he thinks himself possibly lucky to have her in these circumstances, and that she loves him, unlike her former lovers.

2)A traditional sonnet usually praises something or someone for its good traits. But in this one he insults the characteristics of the dark lady, not using the usual guidelines for sonnet writing.
