1) It alters the meaning because Shakepear totally changes his mood toward her in the end. He confuses the reader and changes the tone.This tone and mood change gives the sonnet an entirly new meaning.





2) It mocks sonnets because he wrote this one as a hatred sonnet unlike the ones in his time. He went against the grain and wrote a non love one. He mocks them by showing he can write a sonnet opposite of them and for it to still sound good. Shakespear doesnt have to write normal love sonnets he can be differant and write whatever he wants.
