Hey, nice job here! I espeically like the first metaphor of "hell's blanket"--very original, and way to break the traditional romantic sonnet mode by writing about something equally important to you. Your iambic pentameter is almost perfect, and the rhyme works (the last couplet, with "seen" and "been", I had to pronounce the British way--SEEN and BEAN, instead of our Yankee SEEN and BIN--to make it work, but that was fun, too!), and I'd alter the last line to fit the iambic pentameter: Still He's the best friend that has ever been.
