My poem has a lot to do what has been going on in the past few years so keep that in mind as you read

A Look Inside

The dark moon’s touch grows grayer every night
While the cold wind blows sadness through my heart
My joy has been stolen for pain has won this fight
And the dust softly moans that the wars about to start
My anger has engulfed all my faith and happiness
And my jealousy has blurred and slowed my mind
The skies are slowly fading away to bleakness
While my eyes are darkening till I go blind
No longer will the sweet, bright sun rise and fall
In the darkness you will find me weeping forever more
For I can see the spiders all creeping up and down my cage’s wall
And can hear all the animosity pounding at my door
I will forever wait for my beloved to save me from this mess
But I know with everyday the chance becomes less and less
